Reany Bikes’ New Stylish City Bike is the Lightest Electric Bike in the Benelux

Reany Bikes were first unveiled in June last year at the Eurobike trade fair in Frankfurt. To boost brand awareness for its lightweight electric city bikes, Reany showcased the bikes in Belgium for the very first time at the Velofollies trade show in Kortrijk earlier this year. Nick van Dusschoten, Business Manager for Reany Benelux, explains:
“The launch of our new e-bikes received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Starting this year, we’re expanding our dealer network in Belgium, offering cycling enthusiasts access to stylish, sleek, and lightweight electric city bikes.”
Lightweight Components
Reany e-bikes are the lightest electric city bikes in the Benelux region. The aluminum frame model weighs 17.7 kg, while the carbon version tips the scales at just 14.3 kg. Nick van Dusschoten: “Through minimalist design and strategic material choices, we’ve significantly reduced weight without compromising stability. Our carbon model is a joy to ride in the city—you genuinely feel the weight difference. This approach embodies our ‘back to bike’ philosophy, targeting urban riders aged 25–55 who cycle roughly 15 km daily. Reany e-bikes make commuting effortless, and they’re easy to transport on cars or campers for weekend getaways or holidays.”
Streamlined Design with Fewer Parts
Extensive R&D at Reany has led to a simplified design using fewer components. Nick van Dusschoten: “Our three models share as many parts as possible, and future additions to the lineup will retain this modular approach. This ensures better service reliability and flexibility, even across different models. Competitors often juggle multiple e-systems, leading to inconsistent support and parts delays. Our simplicity avoids these pitfalls.”
Stylish Design & Reliable Tech
Reany e-bikes stand out with bold colors and modern aesthetics. Nick van Dusschoten: “From day one, we prioritized sleek, recognizable designs. Our bikes are stylish, affordable, and built with premium parts. The near-silent Mivice rear hub motor (max. 50 dB) pairs with a carbon belt drive that’s rust-proof and maintenance-free. The 360Wh frame-integrated battery offers up to 75 km per charge—enough for a week of urban commuting. Our app lets riders customize settings, check battery levels, and track their bike. Soon, updates will add navigation and live weather features.”
Compact Range, Bold Colors
The lineup includes three models in five colors: two aluminum-framed options (Reany W1 and N1) with low-step or relaxed geometries, and the flagship carbon W1 Pro. Color choices range from Stone Grey and Desert Grey to Night Black and vibrant Heartbeat Red.
Global Operations, Local Expertise
Reany combines international expertise with localized production. Frames and components are designed by a Dutch team and engineered in Reany’s Chinese facilities. Nick van Dusschoten: “China’s frame and e-component expertise is unmatched—95% of global frames originate there. Our carbon cockpit (handlebar, stem, light) is designed in-house and produced in China, while assembly happens in Portugal’s ‘bike valley’ for its specialized know-how. This fusion of global talent delivers exceptional products.”
Single-Speed Simplicity
Reany bikes feature a single-speed system. Nick van Dusschoten: “Riders love the simplicity—no shifting needed. The smooth cadence makes hitting 25 km/h easy and enjoyable.”
5-Year Warranty & Service
Every Reany e-bike comes with a 5-year frame warranty, 3-year coverage for the battery and fork, and 2 years on other parts. Service is centralized at Reany’s Dutch office near Nijmegen, ensuring fast, efficient support.
Dealer Network
Bikes are available online or through Reany’s growing dealer network. Test rides can be booked online, and delivery is handled exclusively by certified dealers who assemble bikes for immediate pickup. Interested retailers can apply via Reany’s website.
